Voices from the Project

Agnès Tshimbombo

The project supplies households in Uganda with solar lanterns and small solar systems that replace kerosene lighting. Families without a reliable grid connection gain safer, cleaner light, lower energy costs and better indoor air, while emissions fall.

Integrity through real-time digital MRV

A digital MRV approach delivers verifiable data from distribution to impact. Where PAYGo applies, smart meters and mobile connectivity record lighting hours, battery performance and realised CO₂ savings for each device.

  • Lighting hours
  • Battery performance
  • CO₂ savings per device
